Texture vs Race

What: Global hair coloring organization, Kolour Kulture, is the catalyst for the Texture vs Race movement - designed to empower industry hair stylists with the confidence, knowledge, and skill set to overcome fears related to servicing clients with hair textures different from their own. Many salon professionals experience trepidation when confronted with clients of diverse textures and this workshop offers insight and skills into how to turn this fear into positive, technique-focused energy. During this transformative workshop, incorporating D & I discussion, texture theory, and a highly interactive look and learn, you will have an opportunity to execute various techniques with direction on each live model and style textured hair. Led by visionary Keya Neal and some of the most successful multi-textured hair specialists on her team, the goal of this workshop is for you to leave with the confidence to welcome all textures of hair to your chair and service anyone beyond your comfort zone – and, increase your skills and boost your bottom line as well! Check out this amazing article about Texture vs Race
